Common setup questions

• Why do I see sample metrics? Sample workspaces intentionally show synthetic examples and do not connect to Google or a persistent account. Real metrics require a live workspace, a Google connection and selected report properties.
• How do I connect real data? On a live workspace, open AI Connections, connect Google and choose report properties. If sign-in is unavailable, the operator must enable live connections first. Client availability and administrator policies can also limit AI connections.
• Can I manage a paid subscription here? Subscription changes and cancellation are not available in this app. Final billing terms and a working support contact must be published before paid plans are offered.
• How do I remove Google access? Use “Disconnect Google access” in AI Connections. Searchlight removes its saved Google connection and property records first, then requests grant revocation. The page reports whether Google confirmed, failed, or timed out. If Google did not confirm, remove or check the app under Google Account connections. A successful response may take time to take effect. This is separate from “Sign out of Searchlight,” which only removes the browser session.
• Can I delete my Searchlight account? Signed-in users can request deletion in AI Connections by typing the confirmation word. The service deletes user-owned database records, clears the session, and requests Google revocation if it still has a stored credential. If no credential is available or Google does not confirm, check Google Account connections. Billing-linked accounts require operator review; outside trial mode, all accounts while Stripe is enabled are also blocked; deletion does not cancel Stripe. Saved browser reports and backup copies are not removed, and backup deletion timing is not defined.
